Earlier this summer a client was referred to us for a website build. We love referrals! The client was working with an accelerated timeline and needed a web presence fast. Within 2 days Picnic Media was able to design a landing page with limited functionality and create a plan to complete a full website in 30 days. We look forward to launching the full website for Garness Studio in October. Read more about Dan Garness and Garness Studio below.
We are excited to announce that Mandy Pumilia will be speaking at the Women in Auto Care Leadership Conference: Sparking Positive Change on February 28, 2019.
Royal Brewery New Orleans, meanwhile, could not be farther from the beaten path of local tourism. It opened last year by the Industrial Canal in New Orleans East. But this brewery has carefully cultivated a sideline in tours and found people eager to seek them out.
Royal Brewery offers tours by appointment only, and these are usually led by co-founder Raymond Pumilia, a burly, bearded, funny presence who fills the metal building with tales of building a modern beer business from scratch. The tours are pitched and priced as package deals, with beer samples at the tap room and merchandise to bring home.
“We try to package it no different from the way you’d package a swamp tour,” said co-founder Mandy Pumilia. “Because of where we are, it has to be an experience, a destination.”
Do you need to freshen up, modernize or digitize your logo or graphics? Have you made changes to your business’ signage and your print or digital presence don’t reflect those changes? Are you launching a new business that needs branding or re-branding? We can help! Contact us today!

Upturn Arts is a fun and creative program that teaches children in the New Orleans community to explore and build confidence in themselves as artists. Our mission is to provide “Arts for All”.
A unique feature of Upturn Arts’s summer camp is that young artists have an opportunity to work with Master Artists, such as David Shaw of The Revivalists, Tank and the Bangas, Mike Doussan, and more.
Another bonus of Upturn Arts Summer Camp 2018 is that creARTive grants are available for middle- and low-income families to subsidize the cost of tuition, ensuring the mission, “Arts for All”. Camp begins June 4 with six different themed sessions and ends the week of August 10.
“Due to the nature of our organization, we hope to provide creARTive Grants to at least 50% of the young artists who attend our programming. One of our goals is to engage the immediate neighborhood and directly impact those families that live around our site.” says Executive Director, Dana Reed.
